Unique Skill Set

Structural design of light frame and residential structures has classically been ignored by the mainstream structural engineering community. The distinctive difference that sets Apex apart from the mainstream is our passion for this type of work. Through experience and frustration in a fragmented industry, we have assimilated a logical, unique skill set of engineering, architecture and manufacturing. Daily collaboration in these areas has provided a commanding view of the design and construction industry. Clients using our services al carte or combined take advantage of our unique skill set.

Navigating the Code

Much of the intent for the International Residential Code was to promote a non-engineered guide book from which to design and construct homes. Unfortunately, the code is quite cumbersome to use and cost prohibitive at times. As well, a 100% engineered home design solution can result in overkill. At Apex, we take pride in our code knowledge and design experience, using these skills to help our clients successfully navigate the code. We provide designs that properly assign structural integrity and value engineer out the excess material.

State Certification

Apex Technology is registered and serves clients in seven states throughout the Southeast.  We can gain additional state licensure in less than 8 weeks to serve clients.
